Wondering Deeply which starts immediately in an explosive manner with very intensive guitar riffs. They've released various singles and albums through different labels and have toured with Isis, This Machine Kills, Mogwai and Yaphett Kotto. All of this is wrapped up in an dramatic and emotional melodies. The combination of these two genres (Screamo and Post-Rock) can be better heard in their latest releases and most notably their 2006 release, "Insomniac Doze", where screaming vocals are accompanied by intense climaxes and spoken words take place side by side with soft guitar textures. Over the years the band slowly were polishing their sound and adding a Post-Rock influences not too far from that of Mono or Mogwai while still being at heart a Hardcore / Screamo band. Formed in 1991-92, Envy has been one of the most prominent acts of the Japanese Hardcore scene.
